Character System Overview

CharaStudio's character creation system includes the following core modules:

• Basic Info: Name, age, gender, occupation, etc.
• Appearance: Physical description, reference images
• Personality: Personality type, behavior patterns, speech style
• Backstory: Character history, relationships with other characters
• AI Parameters: Controls the consistency of AI-generated dialogue

Creating a Character

Manual Creation

1. Click "Characters" > "New"
2. Fill in basic character info in the left panel
3. Add appearance descriptions in the "Appearance" tab
4. Select personality types in the "Personality" tab

AI-Assisted Generation

Use the AI generator to quickly create character profiles:

1. Open the AI generation panel
2. Enter a character description (in Chinese, English, or Japanese)
3. Set generation parameters:
   • Detail Level: Concise / Standard / Detailed
   • Style Tendency: Realistic / Fantasy / Anime
   • Type Preference: Hero / Villain / Neutral
4. Click "Generate" and the AI will create a complete character profile
5. Not satisfied? Click "Regenerate" or edit specific fields

Personality System

CharaStudio uses a Big Five personality model-based system:

By adjusting these dimensions, you can precisely control character behavior and make AI-generated content more aligned with expectations.

Appearance Reference Images

You can add multiple reference images for a character:

1. In the "Appearance" tab, click "Add Reference Image"
2. Import from local files or use AI-generated images
3. Reference images help the AI maintain character appearance consistency when generating comics

Exporting Character Cards

After creating a character, click the "Export" button to export in multiple formats:

• JSON: For data backup and cross-platform migration
• PNG (with metadata): Compatible with TavernAI character card format
• PDF: For printing or sharing with friends who don't have CharaStudio
