What Are World Cards

World Cards are assets used by CharaStudio to define and manage story environments. They contain:

  • World Name: e.g., "Xuan Frost Continent"
  • World Overview: Overall settings and rules of the world
  • Scene Card List: Various scenes belonging to this world
  • Setting Rules: Magic systems, technology level, social structure, etc.
  • Reference Images: World reference images

Creating a World Card

  1. Go to the "Asset Library" workspace
  2. Click "New World Card"
  3. Enter the world name
  4. Add world description in the "Overview" tab
  5. Define world rules in the "Rules" tab

World Rules Example

【Xuan Frost Continent】
- Spirit Level: 1-9, level 9 is the apex
- Cultivation System: Absorb天地灵气 to convert to spiritual power
- Taboos: Large-scale destructive spells prohibited in royal city
- Races: Human, Demon, Dragon coexisting

Scene Cards

Scene Cards are sub-assets of a World Card, defining specific locations:

Creating a Scene Card

  1. Inside the World Card, click "Add Scene Card"
  2. Fill in the scene name
  3. Set scene attributes:
    • Scene Type: Indoor/Outdoor
    • Time Period: Day/Night/Universal
    • Atmosphere: Quiet/Silent, Bustling, Mysterious, Cozy...
  4. Add scene description and reference images

Description:
Candlelight flickers in the study, towering bookshelves line the walls.

Asset Linking

Scene Cards can link to the following assets:

  • Prop Assets: Key props appearing in the scene
  • Character Assets: Characters who are permanent residents of the scene
  • Costume Assets: Characters' specific outfits

AI and World Cards

CharaStudio's AI generation features reference World Card settings:

  1. Story Generation: AI generates plots that comply with world rules
  2. Image Generation: Scene descriptions are used as AI drawing prompt references
  3. Dialogue Generation: World settings influence characters' speech styles

Asset Export and Import

  • Export: Package World Cards as .chara-world files for sharing
  • Import: Import World Cards shared by other creators
  • Template Library: CharaStudio provides several preset world templates for quick starts
